Children playing in sunlight

The Story

Does my life matter?

Every human being asks this question. Day 7 was built to make sure the answer is always, unequivocally, yes.

The Beginning

24,000 children under five die every single day.

Twenty-four thousand children, five years old and younger, die every single day. From only two causes. Not enough food. Not enough water. They literally dehydrate — by the time you take a shower in the morning, 24,000 children have died. Not because the world lacks resources. Because we lack the system to connect what people need with what other people can give.

I wrote that number on a whiteboard. And below it, I wrote a question to myself:

"Carter, what are you going to do about that?"

That question has followed me for fifteen years. Through failed businesses. Through doubt. Through every moment I questioned everything. But that question never left.

This was never about guilt. This was about birth. How can we collaborate together — all of humanity — and actually change the world? What emerged is not a tech company. It is a civilization architecture — where every person's gifts, knowledge, and creativity are sovereign, connected, and flourishing.

Genesis is my answer.

The World As It Is

We built systems that extract from people instead of elevating them.

Technology was supposed to connect us. Instead, it harvests our attention, monetizes our data, and leaves us more isolated than ever. AI was supposed to help us think. Instead, it guesses at what we want to hear and calls it intelligence.

The single mother sees solutions the billionaire misses. The janitor notices patterns the CEO overlooks. The grandmother holds wisdom that no algorithm can teach. But no system exists to capture all of it — to make every contribution matter.

Until now.

Transformation One

From Extraction
to Contribution.

The old model takes from people — their data, their attention, their creativity — and gives the value to corporations. Day 7 inverts this entirely.

When you create value, you keep it. Your intellectual property generates income for you — forever. The more you contribute, the more you benefit. Regenerative economics, not extractive.

People collaborating with purpose

Transformation Two

From Competition
to Completion.

The world doesn't need another zero-sum game. It doesn't need winner-takes-all. It needs a system where your gifts complete what someone else started — where every person's unique perspective fills a gap no one else could fill.

Eight billion minds thinking together. Not competing. Completing.

Diverse group in meaningful conversation

Transformation Three

From Isolation
to Integration.

You were never meant to do this alone. Every breakthrough in human history happened when minds connected — when someone's question met someone else's answer. But until now, we had no system to make those connections at scale.

Day 7 is that system. A living network of human intelligence that grows smarter, wiser, and more connected every single day.

Community gathered in warm light

What if everyone's
contribution mattered?

Not just the "big" ideas. All of them. What if the system that connects needs with solutions was so intelligent, so alive, so deeply aligned with human flourishing — that no insight was ever wasted? That every person who touched it became more than they were before?

The Erosion

What We Lose When Intelligence Is Hoarded

3.7B

People without meaningful internet access

$280B

Annual surveillance economy revenue

71%

Of the world's languages are endangered

2.9B

People who have never used the internet

Indigenous knowledge systems disappear daily. Scientific breakthroughs remain locked behind paywalls. Communities that could solve their own problems are systematically prevented from accessing the tools to do so. The erosion is not accidental — it is structural.

The Difference

This Is Not a Product.

"We are not building a product. We are building the infrastructure for human civilization to function the way it was designed to function — where every person flourishes, not just the ones who can afford it."

— Carter Hill

The Roman roads were not a product. The public library system is not a product. The internet itself — before it was commercialized — was not a product. These were infrastructure. They enabled everything that came after them.

Day 7 is intelligence infrastructure. Not intelligence that serves shareholders. Intelligence that serves people — that helps every human being access the full breadth of human knowledge, connect with others who complement their gifts, and participate in the economy on terms that respect their sovereignty.

The problem is not knowledge.
The problem is connection.
